I don’t know about you, but I am ready for a summertime vacation!! I typically have a large number of beauty products I use at home, but while traveling I like to keep it simple. Plus with luggage restrictions its easier to travel with less these days.
The trick is to pack products that serve more then one function, that way you can save space in your luggage and still have the right products to achieve your favorite look. Here are a few of my favorite multi-use products!
Catwalk Session Series transforming dry shampoo: Not only is this a dry shampoo but it also acts as a wonderful volumizer adding volume and texture to your hairstyle! I use this on clean hair to give more volume and movement to my hair.
Supergoop Everyday face and body moisturizer: Forget having two separate lotions, this one is perfect for face and body and also provides sun protection MAC Pro longwear concealer: This can double as both a foundation and concealer. Add a little bit to your face lotion to create a tinted moisturizer (adding more for heavier coverage or less for a more sheer finish)! You then can use it by itself to conceal the areas that need more coverage. This is a wonderful long-wearing formula that holds up in heat and humidity!
Maybeline Super Stay 10 hour stain gloss: It is lovely on the lips but I love this as a cheek stain! Use it before or after foundation (depending how vibrant you want it to be). A little bit goes a long way. I like to do one cheek at a time, because it dries fast. Just dap a bit on your cheek and use your finger or a sponge to blend in a circular motion. This looks beautiful and stays on wonderfully! This is definitely a great multi-use product!
Laura Mercier baked eye colour wet/dry: Most “baked” powders can be used wet or dry giving them great versatility. Use this product dry as a beautiful eyeshadow. Then apply wet using an eyeliner brush as an eyeliner. It has a slightly more vibrant darker finish when used wet.
Enjoy your summer and travel safe!
