When it comes to being considered for castings, your photos need to reflect what you currently look like—clean, clear, and professional. These images, often referred to as casting digitals, help clients and casting directors get a natural, up-to-date look at you. No filters, no glam — just you.
We’ve made the process simple. Below are the four typical casting digitals and how to take them properly. These can be taken on a cell phone — no professional photographer required.
📎 Note: Please do not send us past headshots or edited images. These should reflect your current appearance.
☀️ Lighting & Background Tips:
-
Use natural light from a window indoors—stand facing the window during the day for even, flattering lighting. Avoid standing outside, as outdoor conditions can be inconsistent and distracting.
Avoid harsh shadows or overhead lighting.
Use a solid-colored wall as your background (white, light grey, or beige work best).
Make sure the background is clutter-free.
Hair should be styled neatly and pulled away from your face.
Wear fitted, simple clothing in solid colors (no logos, patterns, or graphics).
